Interior Design Student Wins Design Contest

Jade Boyle, a senior interior design student from Glasgow, KY, won second place ($2500 cash prize) for her store fixture design. She competed against students from US, India, UK and France. The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE), now in its fourth year, offers students a chance to see their designs come to life, gain exposure at a major industry trade show, and win cash awards. PAVE received 209 entries from 12 countries last fall. The winners were announced at the Global Shop trade show in Chicago. Western Kentucky University hosted the 5th Annual Meeting of the Kentucky Chapter of the American Physiological Society
WKU School of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport student, Gabrielle Ringenberg, has been selected as a 2016 recipient of the William N. Wasson Student Leadership and Academic Award from the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA).
The Western Kentucky University Dental Hygiene Program recently participated in the Kentucky Dental Hygienist's Association Annual meeting, earning awards for their presentations.
