Dental Hygiene Students Achieve 100% Pass Rate

Western Kentucky University Dental Hygiene students enjoyed a 100% pass rate on the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE). The NBDHE is a computer-based exam administered by the American Dental Association Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations. It is a daylong examination given to students to measure proficiency in a variety of subject matters including Anatomic Sciences, Pathology, Pharmacology, Radiology, Periodontology, Community Health, and Management of Care. Overall, WKU students scored more than 1 standard deviation above the national average!
