Congratulations to Pragati Gole

Pragati Gole, an MPH May 2011 graduate, was granted the "Outstanding new Dotoral Student Scholarship Award" The award was given to Ms. Gole based on her academic excellence during her time in the Masters of Public Health program, her research experience, GPA, GRE, and community involvement so far. This award will help cover her tuition and expenses for the next year.
This fall, Pragati began the Doctoral Program at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, School of Public Health. She wanted to acknowledge the Department of Public Health to show her appreciaton for helping her achieve this honor.
"I would like to personally thank you (Dr. Gary English, Department Head for Public Health) and the faculty and staff in the Department of Public Health at WKU for all the support during my MPH that made me eligible for this scholarship."
Bingocize®, a successful, preventative health promotion program designed by Dr. Jason Crandall, Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport (KRS) in the College of Health and Human Services at Western Kentucky University (WKU)
As part of an ongoing campaign to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance, MPH capstone students from WKU’s Department of Public Health challenged local high school students to develop a video public service announcement to spread the message.
The Family and Consumer Sciences department at WKU is pleased to announce that it has received notice that the Interior Design Bachelor of Science degree has been granted accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
