WED MARCH 8

PARADE with us from Cherry Hall to Fountain Square park to CELEBRATE both historic and contemporary women who have made the world a better place *and* all those who have made positive community change regarless of sex / gender identity. Join your neighbors in committing to make BGKY a STRONGER, SAFER, MORE INCLUSIVE community for all! 

WEAR RED! In support of the Women's March call to action.

4:00 pm SIGN MAKING

@ Cherry Hall Statue (corner of College Ave and College Heights Blvd at the top of the hill)

Come make a sign to carry that celebrates your fave artist / activist / scientist / lawyer / politician / mom!

 

4:30 PM - PARADE!

Parade / March down College Hill to Fountain Square Park in celebration of those on whose shoulders we stand, and in celebration of US, and in celebration of those who will carry our torch in the future. Bring your parents, sisters/brothers, kids, students, cousins, neighbors, friends, COMMUNITY to march en masse and show what support for *positive change* looks like! 

 

5:00 - 6:30 PM CELEBRATE 

@ Fountain Square Park

Remarks to start approx 5:15 pm

Come and make cards celebrating the important women/people in history and your life - to add to our community clothesline project.
