Biography

Hannah Slattery (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, and arts manager. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University’s Honors Program with a BA in Dance, Hannah performed both in the States and abroad. As a dancer with Celebrity Cruise Line, Hannah was part of the inaugural cast of the Celebrity Solstice, working with international artists such as Liam Lunniss, Kim Willecke, and Brad J Cleary. Hannah also spent a year dancing for Premium Projects in Doha, Qatar as a member of the country’s first resident performing arts company. Other credits include: McLeod Summer Playhouse (Illinois), Dumbo Dance Festival (New York), Hershey Park (Pennsylvania), and Viva Wyndham Resorts (Dominican Republic). As a child, Hannah had featured roles in the Baby Songs film series (Backyard Enterprises, Inc.), and performed with Rita Coolidge, Ballet Jörgen, and the Moscow Ballet. Hannah has choreographed Spamalot (McLeod Summer Playhouse), Pirates of Penzance (Western Kentucky University), and Little Shop of Horrors (SKyPAC Youth Theater).

 
In 2020 Hannah graduated from University College Dublin with an MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management, receiving First Class Honours. Her dissertation focused on the history and current role of contemporary dance in Ireland. Hannah is currently teaching Performing Arts Administration and Tap at WKU, in addition to working as the Production Manager for Wicklow ScreenDance Laboratory in Co Wicklow, Ireland, and as the Education Programs Consultant for DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative in Washington DC.
