Department of Theatre & Dance Staff

Cate Kilgore is the Office Coordinator for the department.  She comes to Western after working at the Bowling Green Police Department for the past 4 years mostly as a crime analyst.  In winter of 2013, she graduated from WKU with a degree in Music Education.  Cate also has a degree in Music Performance with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and minor in Musical Theatre from Georgetown College.

Cate is passionate about theatre and the performing arts.  As a student at WKU, Cate appeared in the 2011 production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. While at Georgetown College, she performed the role of Carolina in the opera Il matrimonio segreto at the 2009 Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities. She has been involved in community theatre through the years with Fountain Square Players in many roles as an actor, assistant director, and board member.

During her free time, Cate enjoys watching movies and cuddling with her German Shepherd, Skye.  Cate is frequently seen at the soccer fields watch her child play on school and travel soccer teams.
