Austin H. Elledge is the Technical Director and instructor for Western Kentucky University. Austin received a BA in Theatre from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi where he learned to design in every facet of theatre and a holds MFA in Technical Direction from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. While at the University of Nebraska he served as Technical Director for the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, computer drafting and budgeting multiple shows which included The Legend of Georgia McBride, Pippin, and A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream. During his summers, Since 2017, he has been employed for the Utah Shakespeare Festival in multiple positions which include Carpenter, Stage Crew, Property Artisan, Deck Carpenter, and Assistant Technical Director.
