Kirker Butler attended WKU thinking he wanted to be an actor, and joined our department after taking a Theatre Appreciation class with Dr. Bill Leonard. Butler eventually tried his hand at writing, and was hired by Seth McFarlane as a writer for Family Guy and The Cleveland Show. Additionally, Kirker has written for The Academy Awards, E! News Daily, and the WB series What I Like About You. He is an author of the graphic novel, Blue Agave and Worm, and his newest novel, Pretty Ugly, is praised by comedians such as Stephen Colbert. Butler now is a writer and producer in L.A.
