Research
I am currently teaching part-time in the Sociology Department. I continue to use custom-published texts that I have written for my classes. My primary research interests continue to involve employment and healthcare resources issues. With colleagues in sociology and public health at WKU, I am developing a research project that will study variance in mortality among vulnerable elders in the counties that make up the I-65 corridor, between Louisville, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee. My most recent publications have appeared in The International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and Research in the Sociology of Health Care.
