For more than 50 years, WKU has offered courses beyond the Bowling Green campus at regional locations. WKU serves students at three regional campuses in Elizabethtown-Fort Knox, Glasgow and Owensboro. Our regional campuses have been the university of choice for literally thousands of citizens in the region for a variety of reasons.

WKU students Kirstin Bobbitt, Carolyn Brueggemann, Allison Francis, Samuel Gorecki, Maria Julian, Kierigan McEvoy, and Serena White have each been awarded $25,000 David L. Boren Scholarships to fund language-focused study abroad in 2024-25.

“Challenging Conversations: Ethical Approaches to Team-Based Care," presented by Drs. Melissa Travelsted and Kurt Neelly from WKU CHHS were awarded the best poster in the Communication Strategies, Empathy category at the IPEC poster fair.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
