Find A Ride!

Are you looking for a carpool, but don’t know where to start?

Parking and Transportation Services and AlterNetRides have teamed up to provide our campus community with a FREE ride share program.  AlterNetRides is a website that helps you set up a carpool program tailored to your needs.  Using AlterNetRides, you can find members for your daily commute or use the long distance trip match feature and find a ride during scheduled university breaks.  AlterNetRides can also be used if you are on-campus and want to carpool to an off-campus location.  Using AlterNetRides, you can save time and money.

The process is simple.  All that is required to create an account is a valid email address.  Your email address will never be displayed publicly.  After your account is created, you can set up preferences to inform other members of information about your commute, including days and times.  If you are searching for a ride, you can simply view the list of other members’ trips and destinations.  It’s easy, and it takes just a few minutes to set up your account!  Go to WKU’s AlterNetRides Page today to find a carpool that’s right for you.

For more information on AlterNetRides, carpooling safety tips, and more, visit www.wku.edu/carpool.

Please direct any questions to Parking and Transportation Services at 270-745-2361 or transportation@wku.edu.

Happy Carpooling!
