WKU student elected to ATMAE board

Nick Calkin of Bowling Green, a WKU student in the Master of Science in Engineering Technology Management (MSETM) program in the Department of Architectural and Manufacturing Sciences, was elected Sept. 28 as the student representative to the Association for Technology Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). He is the third consecutive WKU student to serve on the ATMAE Executive Board.

In addition, two MSETM students, Blake Cvengros of Paducah and MariEtta “Joleen” Byerline of Leitchfield, have been selected as finalists in the ATMAE Graduate Student Research Competition to be held in Nashville on Nov. 15. They are two of four finalists (master’s and doctoral level students) who will compete for a cash prize and an award plaque.
