WKU Social Work professors Dr. Jay Gabbard (right) and Dr. Patricia Desrosiers represented WKU at the annual National Teaching Professor conference in Washington, D.C., June 1-3.
WKU Social Work professors Dr. Jay Gabbard and Dr. Patricia Desrosiers represented WKU at the annual National Teaching Professor conference held in Washington, D.C., June 1-3. The conference brings together hundreds of faculty members nationwide to explore the newest ideas in teaching and learning. They presented a workshop titled “Ten Effective Pedagogical Strategies for Engaging Students in Online Learning” that was attended by 70 professors from around the United States.
