Eight meteorology students in Dr. Josh Durkee’s annual Field Methods in Weather Analysis and Forecasting course are continuing their storm chasing class to forecast, analyze and document severe convective storms across the Great Plains. For the past two days, the students have been in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. In addition to storms, they’ve seen storm chaser Reed Timmer and the Weather Channel’s Mike Bettes.
