WKU/ AHEC HOSA Bring Paramedic as Guest Speaker
| Date: Friday, December 9th, 2011 | Return |
The WKU Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) chapter welcomed Jim Williams to speak with them about his career as a Paramedic. Mr. Williams is an RN EMS Field Operations Manager at Commonwealth Health Corporation (CHC). His presentation to the students gave an in depth look at what Mr. Williams does and he encouraged the students to find a career that they were passionate about. In a thank you note written to Mr. Williams, Matthew Garvey, a HOSA student stated “You not only inspired me to pursue an EMT certification and possibly a Paramedic, but also allowed me to search within myself and find the career that I am ‘destined’ to fulfill.”
