The Role of Social Media Engagement in Collegiate Recruitment and Retention - Dissertation in progress, est. 2015.
Corie Martin joined WKU in 2008 and serves as the Manager of WKU Creative Web Services for the Division of WKU Public Affairs. Her office oversees content creation and management for key areas of the WKU.edu website and official social media presences for the University. In addition, Ms. Martin contributes to the offices of Marketing and Communications, WKU News, WKU Enrollment Management and Information Technology (iWKU mobile app and mobile website).
Ms. Martin's initiatives have included the migration of the WKU.edu website into an enterprise-wide content managment system and the launch of interactive initiatives including the WKU Virtual Tour, the custom WKU student community on Facebook, and WKU's partnerships with Foursquare on Campus and Google Street View.
The Office of Creative Web Services has received numerous local, state and regional awards including Best Social Media, Best Website and Implementation and Online Innovation.

Ms. Martin is currently pursuing a doctorate in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from the WKU College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
