WKU Residence Halls

WKU residence halls are more than just a place to live! Each hall has been fully renovated and features moveable furniture, high-speed internet access, cable TV, a kitchens, study and TV lounges, vending machines, laundry facilities, community rooms, and resident mailboxes.

Educational and Social Programming

Trained Hall Staff create dynamic opportunities specific to your floor and residence hall to provide a premier living/learning experience that promotes student success. We offer a wide range of programs on your floor, in your hall and across campus, such as: pancake nights, Pinterest parties, outdoor movies, campfires with s'mores and games, hot topic discussions and education, and much more! Some programs have a rich history and tradition at WKU, such as the outdoor-bash "Valleypalooza," which has been a Housing & Residence Life favorite for over 20 years.

No matter who you are, there is a wide array of opportunities for you to become apart of the close community at Western Kentucky University. If we don't have it, we have the tools to empower you to make it! Start a Shared Interest Community, get involved in Hall Council and the Residence Hall Association, or become a Resident Assistant!

Information Desks

Each residence hall is equipped with a front desk staffed around the clock to provide residents with the best customer service and security. Residents can use their Big Red Card to check out games from the front desk. Brooms and mops are also available to check out. Residents should present the front desk staff with their WKU I.D. every time they enter the building. If you are visiting a resident, please have a valid photo I.D. available to check in with the resident you are visiting.

Please visit or call your front desk if you have questions or concerns about your building.
