Join us for an afternoon of cardboard shanty-building, respectful dialogue, and hot chocolate.
*HRL will provide cardboard boxes and duct tape. Please do not bring any cardboard.
Students will be given scenarios in which they will have to build a realistic shanty with the limited materials given to them and that will fit the climate and surroundings of the scenario. There will be a discussion about how poverty affects our world and what actions we can take to be part of the solution.
Register online as a team (max 10 members) or as an individual. All students are welcome to participate.
