Educational Highlights:

Samantha earned her B.S. in Historic Preservation from Southeast Missouri State University. While there, she wrote a National Register nomination for the Bald Knob Cross of Peace, a 110-foot cross in the hills of southern Illinois.

Next at WKU:

Samantha minored in geography during her undergraduate education, and studying cultural landscapes was her favorite part. She will carry this passion and her continued love of historic preservation with her as she pursues the historic preservation track M.A. She will also be working with an archivist at Mammoth Cave National Park.


On the Inside:

Samantha is from Thebes, Illinois. She enjoys post-crossing, or using an online network to send and receive postcards from around the world. Her hobbies also include planning road trips
with her best friend and reading.
