"I learned I wanted to be a folklorist when I was taking the only folklore class that
Ball State offered. When we got to the foodways portion of the class, I was in love."

Educational Highlights:
Lacey earned her B.A. in History and Anthropology from Ball State University. During
her undergraduate education, she worked as a teaching assistant for three years. She
helped students successfully learn course material and pass classes they found difficult.
Next at WKU:
Lacey is exceptionally excited to continue her study of foodways while earning her
M.A. at Western.
On the Inside:
Lacey is from Warsaw, Indiana. Her favorite food is spaghetti. She loves baking, and
if you offer her ice cream, she will never turn it down.
