Research

Evolutionary Biology and Genetics, Biostatistics.

Much of my current research involves collaborating with physicians and others at the Medical Center Bowling Green to examine the impact of risk factors and treatment interventions on health outcomes, especially related to cardiovascular disease. I’m also interested in any research that focuses on applying evolutionary principles and multivariate statistical methods. Past research interests have addressed questions related to wildlife molecular forensics, morphometrics and conservation of desert fishes, genetics and speciation in African cichlid fishes, and the statistical analysis of population genetic data.
