Dr. Askins has been heavily involved in Career and Technical Education for his entire career serving on numerous boards from the local to national level. Through the University, Dr. Askins works as a consultant to business and industry as well as education having conducted 100s of decelopmental programs. A noted conference presenter he has presented nearly 200 invited presentations to professional organizations across the United States.


Brent is an avid woodworker constructing period furniture and musical instruments. He is also the state director of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and actively involved in restoration and riding of American antique motorcycle.
