Online Tutoring Sessions

Online Tutoring Sessions are now available through The Learning Center! Whether you are a distance learner, online student, or just feel like working on your courses from the comfort of your own space, Online Tutoring Sessions will provide quality academic assistance for a variety of classes. Please see the instructions below for particulars on setting up an appointment and connecting to the service.

Schedule and Courses Offered:

Online Tutoring Sessions are available by appointment only. Please call 270-745-6481 to set up an appointment.

Instructions for using the service:

Call The Learning Center at (270) 745-6254 to set up an appointment for your course. (Sessions are currently available Tuesday - Thursday from 6:30p - 9:00p)

Before your scheduled appointment, get your computer ready. Online Tutoring Sessions require a broadband internet connection--dial-up doesn't work. If you have a microphone, webcam, and speakers/headphones, hook those up so that you can talk to, see, and hear your tutor (voice and video are optional but highly recommended).

About five minutes prior to your appointment, check your WKU email account--you will have an email from The Learning Center with a link inside--click the link and you're almost there!

At the login screen you'll type in your WKU webmail login ID and password. Click "Enter Meeting" and let the learning begin!

*Please Note: Online Tutoring Sessions is a new program still in its early stages--if you experience any technical difficulties with the service, please inform your tutor or The Learning Center so that we may improve the service to meet your needs.
