The Campus Advising Network
The Campus Advising Network (CAN) was formed during the 2006.2007 academic year in response to the academic advising community desiring more communication and seamlessness in the advising area at WKU. This informational network creates a connection for all WKU advisors in order to receive professional development on issues facing the WKU advising community. Each academic year advising "hot topics" are offered in response to the needs of advisors at WKU. For a list of sessions since the creation of CAN, please see below.
The Campus Advising Network has a list-serve allowing for communication of advisors throughout campus. With over 170 members to the list-serve it is a great way to have questions answered regarding advising topics you may not be as informed on. To be added to this list-serve please contact Christopher Jensen at christopher.jensen@wku.edu or call 270-745-5065.
If you are interested in possibly presenting or sponsoring a lunch for a future CAN session, please contact Christopher Jensen at christopher.jensen@wku.edu or call 270-745-5065. The CAN schedule may also be downloaded.
