Topper Transit Green Line Express Discontinued
|Date: Thursday, March 9th, 2017||Return|
Effective Monday, March 20th, the WKU Green Line Express shopping shuttle (2PM -6PM weekdays) will be discontinued. Students can still reach the destinations served by the Topper Transit Green Line Express by using the GObg Public Transit Purple Line (Route 5).
The GObg Purple Line runs from 7:30AM to 5:15PM weekdays and stops at the WKU Campbell Lane bus stop. The route serves Krogers, Aldi’s Food Store, Walmart, Target, Greenwood Mall, McDonald’s, Meijers, several apartment complexes, and the new Nashville Rd Graves Gilbert Clinic.
To use the GObg Purple line, take the Topper Transit White Line (7:15AM – 6PM weekdays) from Main Campus to the Campbell Lane bus stop. Students can pay individual fares to ride GObg buses or purchase discounted GObg semester passes from Parking and Transportation Services for $10/semester. GObg has six bus routes reaching many major destinations within Bowling Green. For more information on GObg routes and services, visit http://www.casoky.org/transportation.
The WKU Green Line will not be affected by this change. The evening Topper Transit Green Line will continue to provide service from 6PM – 10PM weekdays and 4PM – 8PM on Saturdays.
