STUDENT EMPLOYMENT AT WKU

The Student Employment Program at Western Kentucky University provides employment opportunities for students who are in need of part-time employment as they pursue a course of study at the University. The program is also designed to assist University departments in meeting their objectives through the use of qualified student employees.

Students must qualify by filing a FAFSA each academic year and meet the requirements for financial aid.  Student employment funds do not offset any University charges (tuition and fees, housing, etc.) that a student may incur. Student employees are paid bi-weekly through BankMobile.

All eligible students are encouraged to participate in student employment. Of course, it is important to remember, the students' first priority is to be a student. Employment should help create a well-rounded individual and should not be the primary focus of their educational experience at WKU.
