Poorvie Patel, a senior from Bowling Green, is a first-year Spirit Master majoring in Political Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship and a focus in citizenship and social responsibility with a pre-law concentration. A student in the WKU Honors College , she has been recognized on the President’s List multiple times. She has been inducted into the Order of Omega Honors Society, is an SGA Senator, is a Dynamic Leadership Institute 4 graduate, and is the current Vice President of Education for Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Her involvement with the $100 Solution has allowed her to be a Teacher’s Assistant for cultural diversity and become a $100 Solution trainer, as well. She is a former intern for U.S. House of Representative Brett Guthrie in Washington, D.C. and was recently selected as a student lobbyist by Patton Boggs LLP to advocate for the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act to make housing safer and college more affordable for students.
