MS HSS Cybersecurity courses


Students who are enrolled in the Cybersecurity concentration are required to take the core MS HSS graduate-level courses (12 credit hours total) and 18 credit hours of graduate courses specifically designed for students who are enrolled in the Cybersecurity concentration:

  1. CIT 552: Cybersecurity Fundamentals (3 credit hours)
  2. CIT 554: Operating Systems for Cybersecurity (3 credit hours)
  3. CIT 556: Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing (3 credit hours)
  4. CIT 558: Cybersecurity Defense & Countermeasures (3 credit hours)
  5. CIT 560: Incident Response & Digital Forensics (3 credit hours)
  6. CIT 562: Developing Cybersecurity Programs and Policies   (3 credit hours)
