ABOUT WKU-OWENSBORO

Western Kentucky University in Owensboro has been educating students for over 40 years. Thanks to the community of Daviess County, WKU-O now has a local campus and an innovative administrative and classroom building. Because of this generous gift, WKU-O continues to grow student enrollment and program offerings.

We are dedicated to helping members of this community extend their associate degree and pursue a four-year degree. Joint admissions agreements with four area community colleges make this transition easier than ever. Academic advising catered to this transition allows students to maximize credits in an efficient and affordable manner. Higher education is very affordable when you complete your associate degree at an area community college and your bachelor's degree at WKU-O. WKU-O also offers 16 graduate programs and numerous certificates through flexible class offerings (face to face, online and hybrid).

There are over 40 part-time and full-time faculty teaching over 200 classes at WKU-O each year. More classes and degrees are being added every semester to meet the educational needs of the community.

WKU-O is your Access to Success!
