Bio
Mrs. Botner graduated from WKU in 1981 with an Associate Degee in Nursing and in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. After working in neurology, ICU and the health deaprtment, she went back to pursue a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certification and graduated from Emory University School of Medicine and School of Nursing in 1990. She assisted a hospital in starting up their labor and delivery department and went into private practice with an OB-GYN physician. In 2006, she graduated from WKU with her Masters of Science in Nursing for nursing education and became a certified nurse educator in September of 2008. She is currently teaching Fundamentals of Nursing and is pursuing her doctorate for nursing practice. She a member of the KNA, ANA, NLN, Sigma Theta Tau, and a Kentucky Colonel.
