Bio

Carol Evans is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing.  She earned her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from WKU in the 1980’s.  In 1989, she graduated from the University of Evansville with a Master’s of Science of Nursing with a focus on Education.  After years of practice in medical-surgical and long term care, she came to WKU to teach in 2000 in the Associate Program of Nursing.  In 2009, she received a post-graduate Nurse Educator Diploma (NED) from the University of Southern Indiana.  The same year, she was recognized by the National League of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).  Fall 2012, she is joining the Prelicensure Program.
