This state requires applicants pursuing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure must complete a program through accredited colleges or universities and complete at least two semester hours in pharmacology for prescriptive authority. The BSN to DNP at WKU is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the curriculum includes 4 semester hours of graduate coursework in pharmacology.
