Bio
Matt Bogard focuses on data mining, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis with an emphasis in areas of enrollment management and has been a SAS programmer for 3 years. Other activities include teaching principles of economics and statistics, membership in BISC (the WKU Bioinformatics and Information Science Center), the Department of Economics monthly faculty applied research workshops, review board for the Journal of Applied Economics and Policy, and he also enjoys data mining and programming in R as a hobby.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Mathematics and Agriculture in May 2002 and his Master of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis in Agricultural and Applied Economics in May 2005 from Western Kentucky University. He’s also had course work in Applied Economics and Finance in the MBA program at WKU and Economic Theory in the Economics doctoral program at the University of Kentucky.
Matt has been in Institutional Research since August 2010. Prior to working in Institutional Research, Matt worked in Enrollment Management for two and a half years.
