When the roundabout opens in August, Chestnut Street will operate as a “right in – right out” intersection with Nashville Rd. Chestnut Street will be accessible only as a right hand turn for southbound traffic on Nashville Rd. Vehicles on Chestnut Street will only be able to make a right hand turn onto Nashville Rd.
As a reminder, lane shifts are still in place so please reduce your speed and use caution in the area. Loving Way, Chestnut Street, and University Boulevard (from Normal Street to US 31-W) remain closed. Detours are still in place.
All schedules are subject to change. For the most up to date information, visit the KYTC District 3 website. You may also contact Wes Watt, Public Information Officer at Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, at 270-746-7898 ext. 275 for more information.
If you would like assistance from PTS in helping guests reach campus during these closures, please contact Scot Henry at email@example.com.
