Roundabout Update - University Blvd Closing July 6th
|Date: Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014||Return|
UPDATE - The traffic signal at the roundabout project intersection will be removed on Sunday. Motorists can still travel on 31W though the intersection but lane shifts will be in place. The lane shifts will cause motorists to slow while traveling through the project area. Please use caution.
Due to the ongoing roundabout construction, KYTC is closing University Boulevard between Normal Street and Nashville Rd beginning Sunday, July 6th at 6:00 PM. Access to Chestnut Street remains closed as well. These closures will be effective until the project is complete.
If you plan to travel in the area, please utilize the following alternate routes:
- Traffic traveling northbound on 31W should take Campbell Lane to Russellville Road as a detour.
- Traffic traveling southbound on 31W should take Cabell to Chestnut Street as a detour.
All schedules are subject to change. For the most up to date information, visit the KYTC District 3 website. You may also contact Wes Watt, Public Information Officer at Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, at 270-746-7898 ext. 275 for more information.
If you would like assistance from PTS in helping guests reach campus during these closures, please contact Scot Henry at email@example.com.
Wednesday, December 17th to Sunday, January 20th
Reduced services will be in effect during the Winter Break.
