WKU-Glasgow Literature instructor Jimmy Lowe portrayed Kentucky author and poet Jesse Stuart to his Introduction to Literature class recently. Lowe, speaking as Stuart, told stories about his life and read selected poems to the class. A lifelong resident of Greenup County, Stuart was named a Kentucky Poet Laureate in 1954.
