Follow the WKU storm chasers

Eight meteorology students in Dr. Josh Durkee’s annual Field Methods in Weather Analysis and Forecasting course are continuing their storm chasing class to forecast, analyze and document severe convective storms across the Great Plains. For the past two days, the students have been in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. In addition to storms, they’ve seen storm chaser Reed Timmer and the Weather Channel’s Mike Bettes. To read more and view photos from their trip, check out the group’s blog at http://meteorology.blog.wku.edu/ or follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/#!/wkustormchase and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/wkumetclimsci
Congratulations to Dylan Jones (Civil Engineering) on being named an OCSE Scholar!
