Discussing regional partnership initiatives with community leaders

As WKU continues to align their strategic plan to impact regional and state economic development and quality of life, the Division of Extended Learning and Outreach is restructuring two offices. Based on feedback from community leaders and internal WKU leadership, we are introducing the Career and Workforce Development office and the Lifelong Learning office.

Both of these offices will form the new unit Continuing and Professional Development, created to facilitate significant growth in the area of non-credit offerings. Not only will our customers continue to benefit from existing successful programs, but this new organizational change will position WKU to meet a wider range of needs from personal enhancement to career credentials.
