My Role in the Career Center
I work with currently enrolled students and alumni. Some of the services I am a part of include career advising, mock interviews, resume critique, job search and internship opportunities. I conduct classroom presentations for faculty/staff throughout each semester on various career-related topics and teach two internship courses.
Educational Background
Graduate of WKU with a MAE.
Hobbies and Interests
Listening to music, reading, shopping, history, Forensic Science. I especially enjoy watching Criminal Minds and CSI Miami. If I were going to have a career change this would be the area I’d focus it upon.
What Brought me to Career Services
I started my career at WKU in the Admissions Office working with incoming freshmen, transfer and returning students. I am now in the Career Center helping students take the next step on their journey. I say journey because I truly believe life is just that. Each of us are traveling - we can decide what direction we want to travel in. Making good sound career decisions are so important. In my function as a career counselor, allowing students to make choices about life/careers is a huge part of what I do every day.
