The Jerry E. Baker Professor of Music provides support within the Department of Music for the orchestra director with the Bowling Green Western Symphony Orchestra.   The professor will recruit and teach students in the Strings Program.  The professor will also  while coordinate with the community and public/private schools to increase and continue the development of the Strings Program.
