NSE Experience at University of Texas at San Antonio

Hey everyone!

The name's Blaine and I'm attending The University of San Antonio (UTSA) this semester.

I can't thank the NSE program enough for letting me have such a great opportunity. I've finally had a chance to do things I otherwise could not have done at WKU. I started my journey to San Antonio by train. It was a 24 hour trip to Austin, TX. From Austin, my Dad and I rented a car and went to Corpus Christi  to camp on the beach (the temperature was about 30 that night) These are 2 things I have always wanted to do, but never had an opportunity to. When I arrived to San Antonio everyone was super friendly, and helped me get acquainted with campus. Most things are strikingly similar to WKU. The only differences that have stood out is the nice weather and the overwhelming amount of burritos consumed. Classes are similar in size, the people are friendly, and campus is beautiful. I got a chance to meet a fellow NSEer from Puerto Rico, and plan on going on many Adventure Trips coming up in a week or so. They do things like surf, mountain bike, and hike all over Texas

I have recommended the NSE to all of my friends, and encourage everyone to do it. Nothing's better than getting out of your comfort zone and experiencing a new place
