Scholarly Interests: My book, Selling the Yellow Jersey: The Tour de France in the Global Age (University of Chicago Press, Jan. 2015), places the history of the classic event in a global context.

Teaching Interests: I enjoy teaching World History, 20^th Century Europe, History of Sport, and History of Popular Culture. I also teach seminars in 20^th Century Europe and Historiography.

Personal: I enjoy traveling with my wife and two sons, watching my boys play soccer, and outdoor sports. I maintain a personal blog on Wordpress and a Twitter feed, @EricSReed.
