Getting Started with Workforce Administration

Workforce Administration (WFA) is open to all interested students. It has been designed to meet the needs of working adult students – particularly transfer students from KCTCS and other institutions throughout the region. If you are a community/technical college student or graduate who has enrolled in an A.A.S. degree program – the WFA program is a professional compliment to your studies!

WFA compliments different associates degree majors because it prepares students to advance in their professional field by taking on supervisory and managerial roles within their industry.

WFA does not have a restrictive admissions policy and there are no pre-requisites for any WFA courses. Students are able to enter the program and move through to graduation quickly and efficiently. Best of all – WFA builds on the courses you’ve taken as part of your A.A.S. degree. There are no complicated articulation agreements that list which classes may or may not transfer. WFA builds on your entire AAS degree and respects all of the college work that you’ve taken.

Qualified A.A.S. Transfer Students are awarded a WFA Scholarship. WFA Scholars pay only $250/credit for the WFA courses (less than ½ what UK Part-Time or WKU On-Line assesses). WFA Scholars also have zero textbook costs for the program.
