        Easy to access.

    Easy to understand.

        Easy to afford.

If you are in need of an appointment:

A WKU SLS attorney will advise students via face to face appointment or video chat.   Legal advice cannot be given over the telephone or by email.

Prior to an attorney consultation, students must schedule an intake interview with the Clinic Coordinator at which they will be required to complete and submit a client information form. In addition to paperwork required from the offices, students will pay a one-time $20 administrative fee due upon arrival at their appointment.  Upon receipt of the completed client information form, the administrative fee and verification of the student’s eligibility to receive services, WKU/SLS will contact the student to schedule an attorney consultation appointment.

Students are required to bring their Western Kentucky University Student Identification Card and all paperwork related to the case to the attorney consultation.

If the student is unable to attend the appointment, (s)he must notify WKU SLS that (s)he wishes to cancel the appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
