What is "Wholesome"?
Wholesome at WKU was created to support the WKU Restaurant Group in its efforts to offer healthy food options on the WKU campus and to add a nutrition component to the student wellness program, WellU.

What does Wholesome offer?
Wholesome WKU provides the WKU campus with educational information covering a wide variety of nutrition-related topics and events. Students have access to healthy options all over campus to complement their demanding schedule. The Wholesome Choices program works to provide healthier alternatives to everyday food choices, and provide students with necessary information to make smarter, healthier choices while on campus. Look for the Healthier Eating Guide all over campus to help identify healthier options with a meal swipe. Don't forget to check out our blog, Hilltopper Nutrition, for information on our favorite nutrition topics.
Actively engaging the WKU campus community in a healthier nutrition enviornment that enriches learning and development of lifelong wellness practices. The program successfully allows communication between the Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and WKU students, with a goal of breaking bread while guiding a healthy conversation.
Continually drive WKU students toward the development of healthier nutrition habits on campus, while enhancing a healthier atmosphere through collaboration, leadership, and advocacy.
