Action Required: Form Submission Emails

Due to recent changes in how emails are handled, we’ve identified issues affecting some Modern Campus forms wherein sent emails upon form submission are failing to be delivered as expected. To prevent the issue from impacting any form assets you may have, please review the following guidance to make any necessary updates.
When editing Form Assets:
- Under the Email Messages section
- Ensure the “From” field contains exactly one valid email address.
- Avoid using multiple or malformed addresses as this has been the root cause of several recent issues
- Under the Elements section
- If the “From” field uses an email entered in a form field element, ensure the corresponding field’s Validation is set to “Email Address”
- Under the Form Settings section
- Confirm the “Save Results in Database” checkbox is selected to ensure form data is retained in the event of email delivery problems
We also recommend reviewing any forms you’ve created or managed in Modern Campus to confirm they continue to function correctly under the new handling rules.
