Community Service

In addition to the awareness and fundraising events on campus to benefit organizations, National Volunteer Week is promoting volunteer opportunities at several nonprofit organizations. If you are interested in volunteering, let us know in advance by signing up online or calling 270-782-0082.

Register early: Registered volunteers will receive a free t-shirt on the day of the project while supplies last.
 
Volunteer recognition: All registered volunteers will be invited to the Volunteer Recognition Breakfast on Saturday, April 12th

Cleanways with Greenways

Volunteer at Greenways in Partnership with the City of Bowling Green

1:00pm- 3:00pm

Meet at Keriakas Park (sign up to volunteer by April 4th)

Students needing a ride can meet outside Minton Hall at 12:30pm

 

Service is the Language (WKU students only)

Parker Bennett Community Center

3:30pm-6:00pm. (sign up to volunteer by April 4th)

WKU students will assist with leading seven service areas that provide interactive projects and games for the youth. Volunteers are responsible for their own travel to this project.
