Summer Financial Aid

Summer Financial Aid

Once you are enrolled we will determine your eligibility and contact you by email regarding either Pell Grant or loan eligibility. Please allow at least four weeks for your aid to be awarded. Summer 2017 is considered part of the 2016-2017 academic year. In order to receive financial aid for summer 2017, students must have a 2016-2017 FAFSA on file. The deadline to file a 2016-2017 FAFSA is June 2017.

You will be notified of an award through your WKU email account. If you are on a probationary status or approved appeal for the Spring term, your eligibility for summer aid won't be considered until after spring grades are posted. Please continue to check your TOPNET account.

Students must enroll in at least 6 hours (half-time) to be eligible for financial aid in the summer.
