Minh considers WKU a worthwhile investment

Minh Dao

Minh Dao chose to enroll in the Master of Business Administration degree program because she wanted to learn more about business, and eventually start her own company. She believes a MBA will give her more well-rounded business knowledge.

“I am really impressed with faculty and staff here. They really care about student success. They are willing to go extra miles to make sure you are taken care of,” Dao said describing her experience.  “I like the diversity that we have here and how WKU really wants the students to become global citizens because that is very important for our ever-changing world today.”

“As an international student, we do have some unique issues and needs that need to be met.  WKU has wonderful resources to make sure that some unique student populations are given the resources that they need to succeed at WKU.”

Before applying, Dao sought feedback from several business leaders in town who went through the MBA program, and she said they recommended it. “I just think that people have different reasons why they want to attend college, but I think that it will be a worthwhile investment to come to WKU because of the unique opportunities and resources that are given to the students while at WKU.”

What would you say to a student considering attending WKU?

"I would say that WKU does offer unique opportunities that help set students apart from others. Some day they will be very proud of themselves for making the decision to attend WKU. I do believe that whatever needs or interests that they have, the opportunities they offer here will accommodate those needs and interests."
