Everyone is different in what they need from their international education experience. Some students dream of visiting a particular country; others are guided by their academic and professional goals when selecting a program. Many students just know that they want to be ready for a global job market. Fortunately, WKU’s Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning has the resources to help everyone find the right academic program.
WKU has special relationships with universities and programs around the world. Our exchange partnerships allow Hilltoppers to take WKU to the world while paying in-state tuition. WKU faculty regularly teach courses and direct research abroad to deepen their students' understanding of academic content. Harlaxton has been a proud partner of WKU since 2007 and welcomes students to study at a manor house outside of London. Semester at Sea is an option for students who want short visits to a variety of countries while traveling aboard a floating campus.
All of these options and hundreds more are available to WKU students. If you are just starting to explore study abroad, click on the mini map below to explore available locations and programs, and join one of our opening advising sessions to learn more about these great opportunities. Our office is located at 128 Grise Hall and we’re open from 8:00am to 4:30pm (summer hours are from 7.30am-4pm).
If you have an idea of what you would like out of your international experience, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment with an advisor, who can guide you to the right program.
